About Me
I qualified as a counsellor in 2004 and have been working in private practice since then. I have also worked as a volunteer counsellor for Cruse Bereavement Care since 2003. In 2005 I qualified as a Counselling Supervisor. I have an Advanced Diploma in Counselling Psychology and Psychotherapy and I have studied psychology to degree level. I also have a diploma in Health Psychology. I am currently studying for a Professional Diploma in Psychotherapy.
I also work as a district nurse, which gives me an understanding of health issues and their emotional impact. I am aware of the difficulties of caring for a relative with a disability and can offer support in this area. I regularly speak to groups of carers, both from organisations and in care homes.
I am experienced in both one to one and small group work.

"I went from feeling that absolutely nothing in my life was meaningful or exciting to a feeling of self worth and appreciation for the people I love. Now, when I get those feelings of being down, I have the technology to work my way out of it - a big thank you to Sally".
